I’m so excited to finally have this little corner of TracyLouX Design World where I can share more than just the finished designs.

If you’re a crafter, designer, small business owner, or simply someone who loves being creative, I hope you’ll find something here for you.

So, what can you expect?

This blog is going to be a mixture of creativity, design, crafting and small business — without making everything feel overly complicated.

I’ll be sharing things like:

Creativity doesn't have to be complicated

One of the things I really want this blog to be is approachable.

There are so many amazing tools, techniques and possibilities available to creatives, but sometimes the terminology alone can make things feel much more intimidating than they actually are.

So when I share guides and tutorials, my aim is to explain things in a way that feels simple, useful and achievable — whether you've been designing for years or you're just starting out.

A place for small businesses too

Running a creative business isn't only about making pretty things.

There’s pricing, marketing, social media, customer psychology, organisation, confidence, comparison, creative blocks and approximately 742 other things we somehow end up learning along the way! 😂

So we'll talk about those things too.

Not from a “here's how to build the perfect business” point of view, but from the perspective of someone building, learning, experimenting and figuring things out along the way.

And there will be freebies! 🎁

I’m also creating a Free Resources section where you'll be able to find useful little extras to accompany some of the blog posts.

Think colour palettes, basic SVG shapes, design guides, positioning templates and other resources you can actually use in your own creative projects.

When there's a free resource connected to a post, I'll make sure you know where to find it.
